Contract Manager (Oxon Hill, MD)

Six years plus of progressive prime and subcontract experience with government procurements.  Possesses in-depth knowledge of the FAR/DFAR, agency specific supplements and regulations, and have current and demonstrated experience with acquisition streamlining initiatives and reforms.  Applicant must have working knowledge of all contract types and acquisition approaches to include full and open competition, sole source and various set-aside procurements.  The applicant must have demonstrated negotiation experience, good organization, and excellent communication skills.  Applicant must have demonstrated experience in the pre-award phase of contracting and post award contract administration, as well as contract problem identification, analysis, and resolution.  Prepares proposals, negotiates and administers contracts in concert with Senior Management.  Provides support in the areas of contract and subcontract administration, preparation and administration of teaming agreements, new business development, marketing, and proposal writing.

Payroll Accountant

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (preferrably in Accounting), minimum 3 years directly applicable accounting experience, familiarity with spreadsheets, etc.).

General Responsibilities
Responsible for the verification, processing and record keeping of all school district timesheets to produce a bi-weekly payroll and related transactions. Maintains payroll records and produces related reports.   Top

Example of Duties

  • Screens timesheets for accuracy.
  • Processes, keys, and files timesheets and other payroll related worksheets.
  • Carries out procedural steps to ensure all authorized payments are in balance and accurate.
  • Balances computer output and processes corrections as necessary.
  • Processes hand-pay checks as needed.
  • Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required using computer spreadsheets.
  • Researches and completes all incoming paperwork as needed for verifications of balances from outside agencies.
  • Processes and balances vouchers for payroll liabilities and deductions

Technician I

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installs communication equipment including cables, data lines, printers, and terminals or assists other electronic assistants in installations.  Assembles and/or modifies wires, insulation, electrical components and systems using fixtures, soldering tools, and hand tools.
  • Inspects, tests, adjusts, and certifies simple electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies, parts and systems for compliance with specifications following blue-prints, schematic drawings, or inspection manuals, using hand tools and precision testing equipment.
  • Performs other duties as required, such as ordering and maintaining parts. Top
